Welcome To Life

Jun 09, 2006 14:17

Well, I don't have much time to write right now because I am awaiting Andrew to be done showering and then we will be heading off for day one of a double shot of wrestling, but I figure since I don't have the internet at my new house that this would be one of the only chances I have to update anything. So, here is a nice little entry for ya. I am officially moved out and into my new house, which is weird because it is actually my old house. I lived their for a year a couple years back, so It's nothing to new. My bedroom is the living room, which isn't too bad, but once Dano gets back we are going to figure out the living situation.

I applied, intereviewed, and finished orientation at my new job. I am set to start on Monday at 11:30 PM. You are looking at the newest FedEx midnight shift package handler. I am not necesarily looking forward to working a midnight shift. That's usually when people just start to hang out, but the pay is pretty good (11.50 an hour, and with biyearly raises and whatnot could make it up to 13.50 an hour). The work is tough, but I could use a good workout everyday, it'll be good for the wrestling. Like I said I start Monday and will be working through Friday night every week. However, I don't start till 11:30 PM so it's okay to hang out with me before then. :-)

Living on your own is pretty sweet and pretty sucky so far. I wish my money situation was a little better, but I was very glad to find out that at FedEx you get paid every week, so that'll help things a lot. I've been eating out too much, but that is kinda my only option until I get a ride up to Cub to get some regular food. Hopefully that happens sometime soon. I had Ramen (I hope I spelled that right) Noodles for the first time ever the other day. It was pretty damn good and I look forward to eating more of it. By the way, there's no better symbol of living on your own than Ramen Noodles. I was thinking, "Welcome to life Brian," while I was takin' it down.

Last weekend was the great Aitkin adventure, I had a blast and I am definately looking forward to next year already! Also, I've had a chance to hang out with some people in the last week I haven't hung out with before, due to living so damn far away. But now I am closer and schools out, forever, and that's a good thing. I am fortunate to have such good people living close and on my contact list in my phone, here's to a lifetime of hanging out, partying, and having fun. Well, at least the next year or so, ya never know when another move is coming. Anyway, my return to wrestling is calling after a couple weeks off. Hopefully I'll see all of you soon. Thanks for reading, take care.

Love,
Brian
