...The More They Stay The Same

A week or so has passed since my last angry entry about a certain friend and having plans crumble. Things have actually started to look up though, actually I don’t know if things are actually looking up, maybe I just feel better so I’m thinking that things are looking up when they really aren’t. That, my friends, is called optimism. Anyways, here’s a little rundown of what’s happening in the world of Trent Jones.

The plan for the wrestling house is for three of the occupants to move out still. However, Dan is in the works right now of getting the lease on the house in his name. If the plan goes the way it should, the three occupants can move out when they are ready to. That would leave Dan and another one, I would then move in and so would Dan’s two sisters and the house would be full again. What sucks is, I still don’t know whether or not the house will successfully be switched over to Dan’s name, BUT I assume that packing up and selling the house will take more than through July.

So, my plan at the current moment would be to move into that house whether or not the lease is switched over. Then, if it doesn’t, at least I have a place to stay for a month or so until I figure something else out. I guess that probably isn’t the smartest plan in the entire world, but at least it’s a plan! The only thing that sucks now is figuring out who is gonna help me move and when they will help me move and the dreaded packing of things into boxes, ugh! From a moving veteran (6 houses, ladies and gentlemen), packing is the WORST part.

I have bought a lot of compact disks lately, I went a little overboard the past couple of weeks and almost dried up my bank account every other week. I picked up a lot of good shit though, but I also picked up some bad shit. Watch out for Stadium Arcadium, it’s TERRIBLE. I guess I should have known that from the weaaaaaak single though. I’m hoping to run up to Cheapo or CD Warehouse this weekend and sell it so I can get a good CD. I finally got the Master of Puppets - Remastered thing in the mail. Most of the covers are fantastic, some of them suck, but most of them are really good. I think my favorite one on the whole disk is Bullet For My Valentine’s cover of Sanitarium. Will this make me a BFMV fan, only time will tell.

Summer is coming and that means it’s the time when wrestling starts to pick up. Kicking off June with a double shot will be fantastic! Plus, it’s NIW’s “biggest show of the year”, I’m really looking forward to it. I’m also very excited for the triple shot Impact Invitational, even if I’m not on any of the shows, I’m definitely amped up to see all those great wrestlers wrestle up here. Hopefully this will be a good summer for Midwest wrestling. Let’s all cross our fingers!

Last weekend was, an interesting one. Lots of things went down and lots of things didn’t go down. Friday night was spent at Venom’s with all the cool kids. Julie even made a surprise appearance which was really cool. More Karaoke revolution, I actually had a lot of fun playing that game. Even though I can’t sing for shit, it was a blast. I spent the night at Allison’s, but Bobby picked me up early because she had a rough night.

Saturday was hanging out with two very cool fucking people, them being Brian Klecker and Bobby Mafi. We went over to Bergen’s for his little shindig, then he joined us and we headed to Richard Prichard’s mom’s for another party. I was having a pretty good time, but then Bergen wanted to leave and nobody else did, so I took him back home and Sherae came along so I could drive back legally. It was a nice ride, we missed exits on the way back and it took longer, but good conversations were had.

Sunday was, of course, mom’s day. But, I did absolutely nothing motherish this day. It’s not that I didn’t want to either, I was told a week before that my mom was going over to my grandma’s where I was going to meet them there along with Joe and all that jazz. I get informed by the broham that mother Sargent is not going to grandma’s and neither is broham. I spend the day sitting on Joe’s couch and watching movies. I watched Brother Bear, but didn’t get to finish it, so don’t ruin the ending!

This weekend is NIW’s return to the Crystal ballroom, I have my first singles match in like two months. It should be a good time. Tomorrow, I definitely want to see Over The Hedge, I haven’t seen a movie in the theaters for so long and I love animated movies, so hopefully that happens. Other than that though, there is nothing else planned. But, here’s to this weekend being sweet! Thanks for reading and I’ll see most of you on Sunday!

Love?
Trent Jones
