So, things are way stressful for everyone at work right now. Because I have a lot of downtime (between loads of laundry/quick changes, etc.), I really want to organize some sort of anonymous niceness event. You remember, like in elementary school, when your teacher made you write nice things about your classmates and compiled everything into lists for everyone? My job makes me blend into the background, so I'm always hearing people talking about other company members. I think if people had a way to anonymously say (and hear) the positive things, it might go a long way to easing some of the tension.

I have a few questions, though. How should I propose this to the company manager? (Also, if I'm doing it to be nice and not for credit, should I suggest it to her anonymously?) Does it sound silly and childish, or do you think it would really boost morale? What should I name it? (I was thinking something like "Awesomeness Anonymous", but I am totally open to suggestions.)

Can you think of any tips that might help me get this off of the ground? How should I organize the positive comments once they start coming in? (Because having a separate Word file for each of the 150 company members seems like a little overkill.) Say a prayer for my sanity?

cheese and whine, like patience on a monument
