It's getting harder to watch SPN now without getting spoiled for Nikita! Thankfully, "Nikita and Alex have a conversation" isn't too much of a spoiler on mute. :)
~What the crap is this recap music? It doesn't have the normal feel. :(

~Seriously, boys? Sit around not talking? That's how you grieve Bobby? I know everyone does it differently, but even Bobby would tell those idjits to get off their asses and hug it out.

~Did Dean purposely steal a car that looked like Baby? Because that's not her, right? Or do they not have to worry about that anymore?

~Man, I don't normally go for the super-built ones, but I must say that Sam's shoulders are really doing it for me this ep, and that last shot of his shirt raked up? *thud*
~I FUCKING ADORE HER!
~"One thing doesn't make sense though--my dad's a pretty great hunter, and your brother's the size of a car, so how'd they get captured?"
~"What century is this? No one fist bumps anymore."
~Oh, you poor kid. Just wanted to save your dad, and you had no idea what you were walking into.
~Or maybe you did!
~"You ever know anyone who left the life?"
"No. They all get killed first."
~"Thanks for saying 'bye', asshat."
"What, now you're sentimental?"
"Just wanted to tell you that you're pretty cool for an old man."
~"It's nice to walk away from someone and feel like they could be okay."
~Now that sounds more like their music. Don't know what it was about the opening that sounded so off and modern. (Watch, it was some total classic that I'm a heathen for not knowing.)
~Edit: Total meta thought--let's recap what life is like for Dean, shall we? He's lost everyone who means anything to him (including arguably the love of his life), except for someone who depends on him (Sam, to keep him grounded in reality and not in Lucifer's daymares), and he copes by hunting himself into the ground, dreaming of revenge, and self-medicating with copious amounts of alcohol? No seriously, is Dean turning into his father, or what?
NEXT WEEK: And now a 40s noir ep? Not that it doesn't look interesting, but I'm getting a little tired of this show being so heavy on tropes and light on actual story arc. :/
