“Ginny, open the door.”

“No!”

“Gin, please, open the door.”

“Fuck you!”

“Ginny, open the door right now, or I swear to Merlin, I'll break it down myself!”

“You wouldn't!”

“I would!”

The bedroom door flew open, revealing a very angry Ginny Malfoy. “I have nothing to say to you, Draco Malfoy,” she spat before shoving him aside and setting off at a furious pace down the corridor.

Draco followed her. “Gin, if we're going to make this work, then we need to be able to talk to each other like civilized people.”

Ginny whirled around, her eyes flashing. Draco almost bumped into her. “Fine, Draco, we'll talk.” She shoved himhard , so hard that he hit the wall. “Pansy Parkinson?” she hissed.

“For fuck's sake, Ginny, it was when you and I weren't together!”

“Pansy Parkinson?”

“What do you want me to say?”

“What did Pansy have to say about me, Draco?”

“Gin, what are you on about?”

“Oh, come on, Draco, don't be thick. You know she despises me. I can't imagine how gleeful 'Little Miss Parkinson' was about snagging Ginny Weasley's man.”

“Actually, she didn't say a thing about you.”

“Yeah, and I'm the Minister of Magic, Draco. Please.”

Draco sighed. “Ginny, you are completely overreacting about this whole thing. It was nothing! It was one date! And you and I weren't even together at the time! Remember, Gin, you had broken it off with me because I got into a fight with Ron at that wedding.”

Ginny ignored Draco, pressing on. “And it's not even that it happened, Draco, that's not what I have a problem with. It's that you never told me, you never told me! I married you and you failed to tell me about this little fling with Pansy Parkinson!”

“Oh, and what about Harry Potter, Ginevra, what about 'The Boy Who Lived?' When did you plan on telling me about him?”

“Harry was at my flat comforting me because I was heartbroken about you being on the front cover of that muggle magazine with that blond strumpet!”

“It was my cousin, Ginny!”

“Certainly didn't look like your cousin.”

“Oh, she didn't? Her white hair didn't bear a striking resemblance to that of yours truly?”

Ginny sighed. “I don't want to fight with you, Draco.”

“Bullshit, Ginny! You're the one who started the whole thing!”

“Oh, so we're going to play that game now, Draco? I thought we were past age eleven.”

“Apparently not, Ginny.” Draco sighed in defeat. “Apparently not.”
