20 Favorite Fictional Characters Meme

Nick'd from celestialcure:

1. Homer Simpson, The Simpsons
He may be stupid, bald, lazy, and fat, but he says the funniest things on The Simpsons. His idiocy is the main focus of The Simpsons' comedy. And the episodes often revolve around him. He has also had a lot of jobs, from monorail operator to vigilante to food critic to bounty hunter. Most of his lines have entered our mainstream language and pop culture, like for example, D'oh!! He is one of my favorite characters on The Simpsons, and is therefore my first favorite fictional character.

2. Lisa Simpson, The Simpsons
The sweetest, wisest, and most talented member of the Simpson family who plays the saxophone and is a vegetarian and is one of my favorite characters of The Simpsons!!! She is certainly an outspoken activist on everything from animal rights to conversationism, which is what I like about her. We certainly share the same opinions on the environment!! And I often applaud her outspokenness!! I can often relate to her in the sense that we both have spirited imaginations and are social outcasts, but for different reasons. U may find it strange that I can relate to an 8-year-old, but I have one retribution: She is mature for her age!

3. Maggie Simpson, The Simpsons
The cutest member and the baby of the Simpson family as well as another one of my favorite Simpsons characters. Maggie has been through so many adventures in her short one year of life that it's hard to believe she's still a year old. In a way, she kinda reminds me of when I was her age, 'cause I was always sucking on my pacifier and watching the world fly by me. But what Maggie has been through in extraordinary, especially since she's shot her town's unpopular billionaire and also shot a bunch of mobsters in her front yard from her bedroom window. She has also uttered a few words during The Simpsons' 20-year run, but she never has any real lines except the action of sucking her trademark pacifier. In addition, it's sad how she never really has a big role in any of the Simpsons episodes. Hopefully, that will change...

4. Stewie Griffin, Family Guy
The evil baby genius and youngest member of the Griffin family and the seconnd main character on the show. I don't really approve of his quest to kill his mother, but I do enjoy his comedy and observations on the people we meet everyday. And like Peter, he makes a lot of pop culture references. (One of the obscure pop culture references he made that I actually was the Back to School reference, thanx to my obsession with love for Robert Downey, Jr.)  I agree w/ him as well: Guys who wear socks with sandals are total lameos.

5. Peter Griffin, Family Guy
The male head of the Griffin family and completely idiotic fat, fucking funny bastard, who is a dumber version of Homer Simpson. He is my second favorite Family Guy character. He is also the main character of the series, which means most of the episodes revolve of him (he's not the main main character). And many of his crazy feats are often the focus of the episodes' plots. He makes so much pop culture references to the point where it gets annoying. But he makes a great Han Solo in the Star Wars parodies.

6. Brian Griffin, Family Guy
Brian the dog is the probably most intelligent member of the Griffin family who isn't human but acts like a human anyway. He is my third favorite character and my mom's only favorite character of the rather dirty, inappropriate series. He is a well-read, ambitious, and alcoholic intellectual who sips martini and has a dry wit , which is often typical of New Englanders. He often finds himself in the strangest situations, but compared to the rest of his family's situations, they aren't very wacky.

7. Bart Simpson, The Simpsons
Bart is cool, and a misunderstood prankster. But I know that he has some troublemaking evil inside him. And because of him, I never forget the German word for "beard" (try and guess what it is). And I find it amazing that he can still sound like a boy despite being voiced by a woman. He is the main character of my many Simpsons fanfics. He also shares my hatred for all most things educational.

8. Stan Smith, American Dad
The patriarch of the Smith family and one of my favorite characters on American Dad. I know he has a chauvistinistic love for the US, but I've been getting the "proud to be an American" mindset in the recent couple of months. I don't know why; I guess I just miss it. However, I do not agree w/ Stan's radical Republican views.

9. Roger Smith, American Dad
The alien member of the Smith family and my second favorite character on the show. He seems to share my love for television and its mind-numbing effects. I'm quite interested by his alcoholism and I love his many disguises. They're so crazy and funny :D!!

10. Tony Stark, Iron Man
Robert Downey, Jr. is the only Tony Stark/Iron Man I know, and ever knew! He makes the character so hot, w/ his sexy fitness and wonderful acting. Anyway, before I dwell too much on RDJ, I find it amazing that Stark managed to escape from the evil Arabs using a crude version of the future Iron Man in the first movie. And the climactic scene where he fights the Iron Monger is awesome!! Plus his enormous chemistry w/ Pepper Potts! Talk about the movie being RDJ's big comeback!! I can't wait for the second movie! Oh it's soon ^_^!!!

11. Sherlock Holmes, Sherlock Holmes
I only like the Robert Downey, Jr. Sherlock Holmes!! I don't care for the other Sherlock Holmes-es ;)!!! RDJ's Sherlock Holmes is kick-ass and more awesome than Basil Rathbone's Victorian prissy Holmes. Plus it captures the real Sherlock Holmes, who was the first Western martial artist!!

12. Arthur, Arthur
Arthur is the most awesome aardvark ever!!! And he's not just for kids; he's for all ages!!

13. Tommy Pickles, Rugrats
Tommy is the cutest of the Rugrats babies! And the adventures he leads his little friends on are quite imaginative!! He was always my favorite Rugrat!!

14. Harry Potter, Harry Potter
Too tired to think up a description :(.

15. Hagrid, Harry Potter
Very comical, lovable giant. (I'm sorry, but I'm very tired and it's 4:30am!)

16. Severus Snape, Harry Potter
Alan Rickman makes him charismatic.

17. Mad Hatter, Alice in Wonderland
One of my favorite characters in the new Alice in Wonderland movie. Johnny Depp makes him hotter than ever. He also reminds me of Harpo Marx, except he talks.

18. Cheshire Cat, Alice in Wonderland
My other favorite character in the new Alice in Wonderland movie. The exaggerated grin he makes is adorable and priceless.

19. Marge Simpson, The Simpsons
Marge may be an uncool, nagging wife and mother, but she can often show her wild side in many of the episodes. And her hair and voice are priceless and go really well together :).

20. Chandler Bing, Friends
The funniest of the Friends!! The references to his supposed homosexuality are hilarious!! Could they be anymore funny!?

I'm sure there are more, but that's all I could think of right now.

And I tag anyone who is willing to do this time-consuming project.

the simpsons, harry potter, robert downey jr., tommy pickles, rugrats, fictional characters, alice in wonderland, american dad, marge, mad hatter, homer, hagrid, arthur, roger smith, family guy, snape, peter griffin, bart, sherlock holmes, maggie, lisa, stewie griffin, iron man, meme, chandler bing, stan smith, cheshire cat, friends
