Balloon Day 2007

Apr 24, 2007 10:53

I had my Physical Chemistry lab final this morning.  Thank GOD that class is over; now all I have to do is get through the lecture.  Next Thursday is the last day of classes. Of course we then have finals.

I was leaving Mendel today and the first thing I saw was Mendel Doug, who has been pretty calm lately.  Maybe it's because they're making him graduate this year.  Regardless, as I was walking from Mendel back to Corr (past Old Falvey), the friggin archway of balloons they have there for Balloon Day blows down and blocks my path.  So I push it up, walk under and past it, and the damn thing blows down on my head!

I wonder if I'll make it to the VST table outside the Oreo today.  The lab final wasn' t too hard, at least.  And at least its above seventy degrees out.  I haven't really been able to wear shorts/flip flops until now.

I've had two phone interviews with Millipore - one for a job in Bedford, one in Billerica.  The Bedford one seemed like they liked me, Billerica not so much.  We'll see.  Oh yeah and that Rohm and Haas interview, but I doubt anything will become of that.

Satan and Simon DeSoto rapped up last weekend, well the 14th.  I must admit it was fun to lead a play, but it was so draining.  I really didn't have the time to commit to something like that and I often wonder how I balanced it all.  I'm considering not doing anything with VST next year at all, but I'm sure I will.

The apartment is all lined up for next year; Brouck will be in the same complex.  In Bryn Mara and on the train; I'm excited about that.  Later.
