there is a man's arm outside my window. my room is on the second floor. ah, now i can see his head.
confused, god i sure was.
i woke up to a gust of wated/wind being blown at my window. i looked at the red band on my wrist. a storm? my half-asleep mind searches for an answer. a terrorist attack? no, dont be stupid.
ooohhhhh, they're using a pressure-hose to wash the house. ahhhhh, there are men on scaffoldings on the house.
well, that certainly wasnt the first thing that crossed my mind when i woke up.
regardless, i am home for fall break. it took more than 6 hours to get back to new england. the trains went smoothly; there was a huge-ass line at airport security. then our flight was delayed, moved to a different terminal, moved back to the terminal we were in, and eventually assigned a gate.
we get on the plane and move away from the gate. get cleared for take-off, and then get called back to the gate for "paperwork" issues. we go back to the gate. we move away from the gate. wait for what seems like forever to take off. we left about 2 hours after our scheduled flight time. pain-in-the-butt storms.
although i must say it was the best flight ever - due to one of the flight attendents. puff, you know what i'm talking about. ;-)
what can i say about being home? it reminds me of being in highschool. did i ever go to highschool? god, that really was ages ago. i get a bigger bed; i get a bit more privacy. no shower sandals (although i havent taken a shower yet :-P). i have a car. everything that college life makes impossible is possible.
but i dont like either.
and i do like both.
it's supposed to be rainy and chilly (esp compaired to villanova) this week. and goddamn, i didnt bring a sweater.
