s'mores, pina coladas, ribs, and works
I had one of the best fourth of July in the longest time. I was a little concerned with so many people over there maybe some crazy drama. It was lovely, everyone got along beautifully.
Baby took longs naps and was able to stay awake until eleven. She had a great day! I even grabbed her organic graham cracker teething cookies, and she enjoyed a s'more with mum. Minus the chocolate bar of course. She wore little pink earplugs, and she watched 75% of the fireworks. I got a lot of it on video. It was cute.
After baby went to bed, I made pina coladas for all the girls. By the end of the night there were toasts to 'summer nights', 'men who are good in bed', 'sisters', and 'babies who sleep'. That was personally, my favorite part of the day. For a few hours all the men were sleeping, and I was engaged in glorious girl talk.
I have a wedding this weekend. Baby shower on Sunday. And another baby shower the next weekend. I'm excited.
