“Don’t do that,” Susan shook her head, reaching out to touch the lapel of his jacket. “I’ve been courted by diplomats and princes, eager to bend the world to their will. People notice. They say I’m cheap because I don’t like to sleep alone.”
“The last thing you are is cheap,” Tony said and lifted the rim of his glass to hers. “People like you and I just know the importance of enjoying life.”
