Hey Andrew, go out and march with the illegal immigrants today. I think the government is about to start giving out citizenships like candy. And if the bastards DONT give it to you, just refuse to work.

the most CLOSED minded i have ever seen you.

you sound like a philosopher and the founder of Utilitarianism, when it comes to your ethics. which is pretty much "until your good enough your a piece of shit" it's kinda the whole philosphy behind slavery when that was going on. read about him sometime he is a piece of shit. his name is john stuart mill, most extremly right wing republicans and libertarians enjoy his work.

im sorry your parents had to work their ass's off to get over here, very commendable of course, and i mean that. i have no idea how to even DO that!

but you must remember anna, you were simply born into your citizenship, just like everyone. put your feet in someone elses shoes. they arent asking for specail treatment, they just want to stay, work, and stimulate our economy.

why this is a problem for some people i have no idea.

like i know i don't diserve to be a citizen. but i am. becuase i was born here and the only time i think to myself that i diserve it more than someone else is never.

i dont believe it to be total bullshit anna, sorry that seems too greedy

we took this country from native americans and opened the flood gates, then closed them. i reiterate as well, YOU didnt have to say ONE thing to be a citizen not a pledge, not an oath. nothing! i would argue that most hispanics like these people are 10 times more patriotic than you. trust me i work with them. again if youre parents we're immigrants you wouldn't as strongly about it. again i ask you to put youself in someone elses shoes and stop with the moral relativisim! it was a pain in the ass for you parents to become citizens... but why should that stand? this is america dammit, and we're beggining to sound a lot like french people who think we diserve to be here and they dont!

they have the right to be citizens, just like you. thats my opinion i understand however totally disagree with yours. nothing more will be accomplished so have a good day and lets let it be =)

Yes, they have the right to be citizens. But the way they are going about trying to get it is complete bullshit. Blackmailing the government is NOT how you get to become a citizen in this country.

They need to earn it.

Me? My forefathers have already paid in blood to make it so I dont need to earn it. They earned it for me. And Im greatfull for it. I would be willing to fight for it too, to earn it for my kids, and anyone else born in this country.

Just because you have a job(and probably dont pay taxes, btw) and like this country doesnt mean you can just get citizenship without doing anything else. It doesnt make sense to me.

I volunteered my time with an accountant over taxes time all thoughout high school translating for hundreds of ILLEGAL immigrants who were filing their taxes at the risk of being found and deported...that was just at one office, so i will call bullshit on the whole immigrants not paying taxes thing ( ... )
