This was crazy. Angel vs. Buffy. Angel vs. Spike. Spike vs. Buffy. Angel vs. the two broken windows and the scared little me screaming for her life inside. I kicked and swung my arms in every single direction I could get them to go. My eyes were closed but I knew he was there, reaching in the window trying to grab one of my limbs, or maybe my hair

"Bloody take Angel down myself if I know I can do it without bloody losing time and trying to attack the people that i care about most. Bloody hell! Sodding leave me alone, whatever you are!"
Grabbed at my skull. Wanted to rip this trigger bugaboo myself. Would if I could.
"Lets do it here. Buffy can keep watch while Willow..."
"Bloody well what are you waiting for, Red. Angel's not playing nice and I want to play nice. Let's do it already..."
"Spike, in order for this spell to work, we stick some magical insect or something into your ear or eye. Are you prepared for that? Do you care that much? What if the thing can't be removed? Have you thought of that?"
Glared at Xander. A small trace of me wanted to attack him, the bumbling goof. Always with the remark, trying to blood goad me, he was and he would pay for that soon.
"Willow, Giles, I'm ready. Slaya is here to watch over things, but make it quick. All manner of beastie is out and about and could bloody bugger up the mix. Don't want to turn into this bug or whatever such mumbo jumbo. I'm ready. Do it. Bloody do it."

I turned to Willow knowing how this must be for her. Asking her to work magics again when she wasn't yet sure of herself was big, but what choice did we have? She looked nervous and a bit unsure of herself but I knew she could do it even if she didn't.
"You can do this Will. We're all here, you have nothing to worry about." I glanced back at Giles, "Do it." I said firmly enough for him to know I was done waiting.
I handed Dawn my stake, quickly looked over at Xander to make sure he was ready if something went wrong and when I was sure he was, turned my attention to the surrounding buildings and dark allys. Nothing was going to go wrong if I had anything to do with it.

Xander felt much of the same things as I was feeling. I didn't know if this was something that we should do, or if we should just put Spike down now because he was a murderer, a deceiver and had recently killed again, and in numbers nearing a dozen.
Xander had also explained things to him, and I expected Spike to object. As it...it turned out, I was mistaken.

I was unable to come up with a response and looked at Buffy, although I had to admit to myself, that if the spell went awry and did something to Spike that he had described, such as making him into a bug, I shant think that I would find a high level of remorse over it, even if we did need him with all of the enemies that we were indeed facing out there.
"You can do this Will. We're all here, you have nothing to worry about."
I stepped forward and produced the relic from it's case, wary as I held it and inched towards Spike.
"This shouldn't hurt to much," I said as I held it out and waited for Willow to make it real.

I wanted to say to Buffy, 'Umm, yeah, we kinda do have a lot to worry about. Spike could go off at any time, again, and oh yeah, there were all sorts of demons around that could attack at any minute.'
But, I didn't say that, as I looked around, nervous.
"This shouldn't hurt too much."
I thought to myself, I hope it hurts a lot, but again, bit the old tongue.
Giles put this weird looking thing that I wouldn't want within fifty yards from me..okay, it already was, but that was as close to it as I was getting. Now, I couldn't wait to see what it would do to Spike.
Kun'ati belek sup'sion. Bok'vata im kele'beshus. Ek'vota mor'osh boota'ke."
I watched, studied, transfixed, loving every minute of that thing crawling into Spike's eye. He deserved this and so much more. I was torn. I almost didn't want it to work. There had to be a point when he was oo dangerous for even Buffy to allow him to live.
The thing was, I didn't know if that time would ever come. She protected him and believed in him way too much and there was no talking to her about it.
I, like everyone else, waited to see what happened with Spike...
