spring break
The kids are out on Spring Break, meaning I have the week off. For the last year or so, most of my vacations are marked by some illness. This week is no different.
But the ray of sunshine today is that Arrah and the Ferns will be (or currently is) playing at Big Car North tonight, partly because I emailed Arrah and Jim to suggest it. A point of pride, to be sure, if I weren't stuck at work hoping the show gets started late and that they keep the local acts for last. Otherwise I'll show up, sick and desperate for beer, with nothing to do but curse and shove until something interesting happens to distract me from the missed concert.
