Sketchbook Project!
So, two days ago, I signed up for the "Sketchbook Project" (like I didn't have enough to do already XD). The SP is run by the Art House Co-Op; each artist who signs up purchases a sketchbook, and everyone gets the same thing (although the colors differ) .
Then you choose a theme, or have them choose a theme for you. In keeping with my love of steam punk, I chose dirigibles and submersibles. Another friend chose 'boys and girls'. There are a lot of themes to choose from. Anyhow, your sketchbook is focused around that theme, although it can be interpreted any way you want.
And here's the kinda cool part. You then send your sketchbook back, and they put it in with a tour that goes around the U.S. So basically, someone random out West or down South could peruse your sketchbook. Then they digitally scan the sketchbooks (for extra >.< Wasn't thrilled about this part) and it goes online for anyone to look at. Anyhow, if you're an artist, and want to sign up without googling Sketchbook Project, here's the link. You totally should do it. ^_^
