From 'Luna:
1) So- I haven't seen you in a while! What's going on in the world of Dove?
Nothing other than mildly interesting things. Like, you know, getting an actual all right mark in Transfiguration and ... uh ... oh, yes, Richy gave me a bunch of things to fix for him, and so I'm busily doing that. It's kind of fun, in a weird sort of way.
2) Uhm... you're one of the only single girls left in the gang- is that a good thing, or a bad thing?
... so, you know, I hadn't really been thinking about this before, but now I am. It's not a terribly bad thing, to be on your own, but I have certain reasons which make it kind of bad. Sometimes I just try not to think about all of you, because then I feel sort of lonely. I don't think I'd make a particularly good girlfriend to anyone, so it's kind of good all the same.
3) Regardless of your previous answer, do you see your singledom coming to an end any time soon?
It's highly doubtful.
4) Have you been trying to drink a little less? Just a little?
Sometimes, I do. If I put too much thought into it, though, it's hard. It's like, because I'm trying not to drink, I feel like drinking ...
5) Do you know a good recipe involving eggplant or zuccini or one of those other weird squishy fruit/veggies?
Why's this?
I hate eggplant, so I'm gonna skip right to the zucchini here: my mum used to make us zucchini slice all the time - and it was really quite awesome. Depending on how many people you're cooking for - you need about half a zucchini per person. Say you're serving 4 (because that's always the amount mum cooked for):
2 zucchinis - peeled and grated
a small onion - or half of one, chopped or grated
about a half cup of cheese
4 or so eggs, beaten lightly
1/3 a cup of olive oil
2/3 a cup of self-raising flour
Mix all the ingredients together, and then spread it into one of those deep sort of loaf pans and heat it for 40 minutes (or so, should be a golden colour) at about 175 degrees (celsius).
You can also put little bits of diced bacon in it, but I don't like that.
