Nothing Gold

Magic dies,
As quickly and elegantly,
As it appears to us:
Like the ghosts of dusk,
That hang in the shadows,
Of a passing sun,
Only existing long enough,
To usher in the shades of twilight,
That call us all to dream,
And birth again the fleeting magic,
Of wonder and lust.
