Caught up!
So, I took inthespaces's advice, and all I did this weekend was catch up with The Office.
OMG, I love Jam, or now as canon puts it PB&J!
My fave moments of them:
--Their first prank on Dwight (Health Care)
--Jim's Christmas gift to Pam (Christmas Party)
--Jim just goes up to Pam and kisses her (Casino Night)
--Jim calls the Scranton office to get Kevin's voicemail and ends up talking to Pam for awhile. (The Coup, I think)
--Pam tells Jim that she wants him back in her life, like it was before. (Beach Games)
--Jim leaves Karen in NYC to ask Pam out...finally! (The Job)
They are the only het couple on TV that I can outright tolerate without wanting to gouge out my eyes. ♥
I've actually come to tolerate Michael. hue126 put it best that he's easier to take as 15-year-old stuck in a man's body. That theory certainly holds, especially as one who doesn't think before he speaks or acts. I have to say that my all-time fave moment of Michael so far has been season three's premiere "Gay Witch Hunt," when he said something to the effect of being down with the gays. He says it so nonchalantly and matter-of-factly, "I watch The L Word. I watch Queer As F**k." I died laughing. I had to pause it when I was watching that one because it just caught me so off-guard.
I gotta say that Dwangela is kinda fun to watch too, but it's just not the same as PB&J!
Oh, that's so cool that Joss Whedon directed an episode. I loved Jim's prank on Dwight on that one. hee!
I'm really glad I decided to give this show another chance!
And, now, a poll because I'm curious (as always)! I'm thinking that at least half of my LJ friends are Supernatural fans, and the other half are The Office fans. Prove me right :)
