Check out The Flir's Please Please Please, which you can buy from iTunes AND CDbaby. I heard of these guys because they are the first random MySpace friend request I've ever had where I had to have more, so I bought their songs from iTunes.
And, speaking of iTunes/podcast/Myspace, it's so weird to see Zach post a bulletin to MySpace. When I read it, it's like an email just for me, but generic enough for everyone else too. It's weird. He was on Letterman the other night, and it's so bizarre that I never feel he's being anyone else but himself. Most of the time these interviews and whatnot seem so plastic and fake, but Zach feels like the real deal. Everyone asks me why I like Zach Braff so much, and this is a big reason why.
I got new glasses today. My frames of nearly three years had an untimely death this morning as I was wiping them clean. The corner cracked and unfortunately it was a titanium frame, which you can't souder (sp?) back together apparently.
Fashion Cohen's Optical had/has a sale though: Lenses and frames for $99... not bad!
Been watching some select back episodes of the X-Files that my roommate has chosen for me. OMG! I don't know how --any of you fans out there who watched it while all the mythology was going on-- how you coped. It's so creepy that it seems so real. It almost seems more real to me than 24 sometimes does. I think because X-Files appeals to the conspiracy theorist/the government-is-always-hiding-stuff-from-us person in me. I'm already waiting for THE BIG KISS. Cuz that's just pop culture knowledge, even if I've never seen an episode before. Don't spoil me, but if any of you are fans of this show... tell me what it is that you loved about it :)
