Oh what a Sirsy night!
I don't think I've seen the band as on as they were tonight at the Bitter End.
They didn't play a lot of the favorites, but that's okay. It seemed that they were getting Virgil to come into his own tonight with some of the other older songs, like "Please Let Me Be" and "She Says." Awesome! I told him he was so part of the band now.
I don't remember all of the songs, but we got to hear "Waiting for Rain" and their version of "Please Come Home for Christmas."
I still get chills hearing Mel do her "special" part in "Fine."
And, I sooo love that they've been following that up with "Dry," but of course, lately, it's been a nice showcase of all of the band's talents. Yay for me though... because I've always thought these two should be next to each other.
I think the reason that they were so on is because they were recording it for a new BYOB... one can only hope.
Of course, right now I'm just excited for Sirsy Acoustic.
