With this, I make her my third underrated/indie artist of the moment!
Imogen Heap's second album, Speak for Yourself, is breathtaking. It's absolutely everything (and more!) that I was wanting from her.
It's definitely produced more similiarly to Frou Frou stuff, but you can still hear older Immi in the song most known from The O.C. "Hide and Seek," and in the other songs "Clear The Area," and "Daylight Robbery."
I just can't stop listening to this album. It's been on repeat since I received it today. I couldn't have bought myself a better present for my birthday!
And lookee, I'm #413 of CD signed by Immi out of 500!
So with that, I made some Immi icons!

ETA: If you've not heard of her, check out some of the samples on her website. I believe she even has her album up for sale on i-tunes or some equivalent. I totally support this idea! Do it! You won't be disappointed! Especially since I've been listening to this album like, on repeat since I've gotten it. I'm sure the CD's hot by now. *chuckle*
