GREETINGS!! And apologies for the late updates to this post; life has been a bit hectic.
So, quickly, some info:
Who’s this chick?
I’m a twenty-something lady who enjoys any number of things in fic (see crazy-long list below), pinot grigio, Indian food, and a good brie. I don’t really write that much fic (wee drabbles for my own amusement, mostly), but I do read a decent amount of it, and I am so excited to see what we can all come up with. I am hugely, hugely grateful for the time and energy you are putting into this fic, and I really appreciate it-- thank you. Gratitude and love make the world go ‘round. :)
My primary fandoms right now include Supernatural, Star Trek, Sanctuary, Bones, Glee, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, West Wing, and a whole host of other shows, books, and other fascinating subjects. I’m usually something of a canon-whore; I ship Ron/Hermione and have since I first picked up the books. I love slashy ships, too, but I’m certainly not opposed to some traditionalism in my fic.

Request 1: Eureka
Characters: Allison Blake, Jack Carter, Zane Donovan, Jo Lupo

Details:
I am a HUGE Jack/Allison and Zane/Jo fan. I don’t hate Nathan (hello, delicious), but I prefer Allison with Jack. Besides that, I’m very true to their characters; Allison being in charge and all business, Jack being snarky and adorable, Zane being a crazy-smart badass with a heart of gold, and Jo being a kickass deputy with trust issues. I don’t have too many suggestions, plot-wise (always my downfall), but I’d take anything-missing scenes, Mortal Peril, etc. If shipping isn’t your cup of tea, I love Eureka in general; throw in a little Fargo, Henry, and S.A.R.A.H. and I’m sold.
Further information:
Basically, I love those two pairings (Jack/Allison and Zane/Jo) to the ends of the earth. I love the premise of the show itself, and the characters are amazing. I love Jack and his truly basic and awesome talents in a world full of the extraordinary; I love when he’s totally lost in a conversation and still manages to figure stuff out (my husband is a scientist and half the time I never understand what he’s talking about). Allison is great, and I like her as a ball-busting, CEO-in-charge of GD. I feel like her as a mother isn’t really fully developed in her character, so feel free to deemphasize that part of her. Zane is amazing (the other half of my husband is reformed badass, so Zane is extra adorable to me) and I love how smart and funny and witty he is; he’s a crazy-smart scientist, but he’s also just a dude. I love Jo’s badassery and her serious relationship issues; Zane gets to find her sweet side.
THAT SAID, if you loathe ships or loathe these ships in particular, feel free to ignore that and go gen. I’m really pretty easy to please.
Request 2: Sanctuary (TV)
Characters: Will Zimmerman, Helen Magnus, Ashley Magnus, Henry Foss

Details:
I ship Magnus and Will so very much. I’d love a story where they finally get together! But it’s important that it be canonically plausible: Magnus isn’t a damsel in distress and never would be, and Will is sometimes a little awkward. If you really can’t ship them, that’s fine! I really don’t like Kate all that much (especially Will/Kate), so please avoid making that the focus, but I’m fine with gen (I adore Henry like crazy, and the Big Guy is awesome).
Further information:
Again, pretty straightforward! Love Will/Helen. I know it’s rare, but their chemistry is off the charts. I also love the whole group dynamic, so bring in the rest of them and go to town. As I mentioned, I really don’t like Will/Kate, so avoiding it would be great; Kate isn’t my cup of tea, but I don’t mind her in general. I also am not a huge fan of Magnuss/Druitt, either.
Request 3: Brothers and Sisters (TV 2006)
Characters: Kevin Walker, Scotty Wandell, Justin Walker, Rebecca Harper

Oh, family. I have a few ships that I love (in order of hearts-for-eyes: Kevin/Scotty, Justin/Rebecca, Kitty/Robert, Sarah/Luc), but I do love the family as a whole. I have not seen the most recent season; please only include information from Seasons 1-4.

I really love this show. There are definitely ships that I enjoy (see details), but I would appreciate gen, too. Nora is awesome, and hearing about William is always interesting. I am not a huge fan of Tommy and Julia, if only because their relationship and what happened with Tommy was such a mess; it’s certainly part of the story, but it’s just not my favorite part of the storyline, I guess. There’s a lot of potential in this show, so wherever you go with this, I’m sure I’ll love!
Request 4: History Boys (2006)
Characters: Stuart Dakin, Dorothy Lintott, David Posner, Donald Scripps

I LOVE THIS MOVIE. So very much. I adore Dakin, I adore Scripps and Posner, I ADORE Tottie. It’s witty, it’s smart, it’s personal, it’s interesting. I love it. I don’t have any suggestions for ships (Dakin/Irwin? Dakin/Posner?), and I almost prefer gen (and NOT het). Perhaps a fill-in-the-blanks fic, snapshots of the boys? Maybe something from after the accident, really giving more details. Maybe reunion fic? I don’t really have too much useful information, unfortunately.

Oh, boys. This is one of those movies I fear would be hard to write fic for, but I love it anyway. It’s about the boys, their time in school, and that great adventure. It’s such a neat snapshot in time, and I wonder about other points of time in their lives. I’m fine with slash, and if you believe in the ship, I’m sure I’ll love it, too. I’m not super comfortable with the whole Hector-groping-thing; while it’s an important part of the story and his character, you really don’t need to emphasize that (or expand on it), at all. It’s so well written and so witty, so that’s what I’d love to see in a fic for this movie.
