Things.
1. I'm not dead. This may shock some of you.
1a. ...I am not really caught up, but only pretend. If something Huge and Life Altering has happened (or, let's be honest, something less huge but still awesome or horrible, I love you bitches), please do clue me in. I hate being out of the loop.
2. It is nearly Thanksgiving, which means it's nearly Christmas. Holy hell, where did this fall go?!
3. Wedding planning is going well. Yes, I'm proud that I made it to #3 before talking about Wedding Crap. Shut up. I'm stalking weddingplans, but that's to be expected, right? Right. *shifty* But things are good. We have almost pinned down a location (WOOOO), along with the location comes the caterer (yay, Black Angus cattle farm!), we've probably decided on a DJ, and we've signed the contract with our photographer, which brings us to...
3a. We took our engagement pictures! Eeee! We've only JUST gotten the proofs yet, BUT they can't be shared (booooo) until we get the CD. But I'll post them when I do, have no doubt. XD
4. Wes is knee-deep in schoolwork, and coming up on his last month and a half of undergraduate work! Very exciting. Brandeis is a great fit for him, but I know he's still nervous about being able to tough it out with the big kids, but that's half the fun of going to grad school. :D
More Important Things.
1. I got an AMAZING COAT when I was out in Western Mass, that I adore. It's High Fashion (hah) and makes me feel crazy. It's 3/4 sleeves, mandarin collar, big buttons, and a pleated flyaway torso. And it's in this fabulous, ridiculous, purple and pink and red fabric that is HELLO UNMISSABLE. It's this coat by Tulle, in the Teaberry (pink/purple/red) fabric. Everyone loves it except for Wes-- it reminds him of Alice in Wonderland. I told him to stuff it. :D
2. My very first ModCloth order is winging its way to me as we speak. Part of it is wedding-related, and-- no, wait, all of it is wedding-related. I'm looking at rehearsal dinner dresses, if only because I can. And they're CHEAPER than so many other Fancy Party Dresses. I'm so excited.
3. I signed up for Yuletide for the very first time. I am nervous. O_O
