So, Suzie sat me down and got me addicted to the Pride and Prejudice miniseries (which I now own), in addition to Sense and Sensibility, which I also own, now. After being introduced the easy way to Austen, I'm steadfastly improving my education the traditional way, with the original works. I've read Pride and Prejudice, I own a random copy of Emma, my mother bought me Persuasion for Christmas and I've already started it, and I've got Sense and Sensibility in my Amazon shopping cart.
My Oh, Deense moment (bear with the reference, non-TR folks) came just now thanks to IMDb and my slightly retarded memory. In my post-midnight leisure, I turned on Clueless. I was just looking through the summary on IMDb to make sure that no, Josh and Cher weren't ACTUALLY related, when I stumbled over this entry: "Emma, Jane Austen's novel is modernised and given this very accurate title 'Clueless.'"
