Aaaand her buddy posted to Supernatural_TV to share the good news. The general response of everyone in the community? "LIEK OMG THAT'S SO COOL" and, my personal favorite, that "this symbol is connected to SPN, but only an SPN fan would know that."

Now, I'm Unitarian Universalist, with some Christian leanings, but I also have some pretty heavy Pagan leanings as well, and this just blew my mind. And yeah, I responded, because I honestly didn't want the poor girl wandering around thinking it was an inside thing when other folks will take it as a symbol of a religious inclination. I attempted, as best I could, to refrain from giving out an online BITCHSLAPPING for the complete disregard for the actual history of the symbol, but whatever. I'm lucky I had any rational thought, and here's hoping it doesn't end quite like the last time I commented about Supernatural fandom. And hey-- at least the chick won't be possessed any time soon.
