A-ain'ta that GOOD NEWS!!
1.) Job Interview #2 at Tufts set for Monday, June 12th, at 2:30pm. I'm interviewing with the SAME woman for a different position. *facepalm*
2.) I have a new debit account in MY name (and not my mom's). While setting up the new debit account, I found out that I am pre-approved for a credit card. THUS, I am getting a credit card. It has only about 16% variable APR (which is less than the other credit card I was going to get), NO annual fee, and a $2500 credit limit (WHICH I WILL NOT USE). It's also a card with the bank I've had a checking account with since I was 15, so being a loyal customer might get me rewards, on top of just knowing and trusting the bank. I'm very, very pleased.
3.) My parents gave me the 50th Anniversary edition of Lady and the Tramp for my birthday. I'm SO EXCITED. This is one of those family things: we had it on VHS when I was a kid, and it is one of my favorite Disney movies. My mom did a purge of movies and books to give to a school fundraiser, and she gave away our VHS copy. I hadn't let her live it down, harping on her about it for the past god knows how many years. Well, she finally made good and gave me the DVD. I am beyond happy. About a movie that's 76 minutes long. I'm such a cheeseball.
4.) I'm getting SOME work done on cleaning my room. We moved another two boxes of schoolbooks out to the family room to consolidate all my books. I have SO MANY BOOKS. It's not even funny.
5.) I wrote out all my thank-you notes, now all I have to do is address, stamp and send them.
6.) I've got Wes interested in Brian Jacques books. YES. I'm a crack dealer. I deal book!crack (Brian Jacques to Wes) and tv!crack (West Wing to Rin and Steph), mostly. But if you ask nicely, I might get a shipment of music!crack, or even food!crack. I'm hardcore, yo.
...there's probably more good stuff going on, I just can't think of it right now. Of course. OH! Wes got a haircut! It looks AWESOME-- very indie rocker now, and less "I'm just growing out my hair". It's cute.
I have a craving to do some photoshop. But that comes after cleaning. It'll be my reward. GAH.
...this icon will have to be a reward enough for now. MmmmmODEDFEHR.....
