Ok, I'm really sort of hugely excited about this, because there is never rimming in fics-which, ok, I get, because as you say it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's something people (no small amount of them gay men) do and I've always wondered if there's some sort of unspoken slash code where everyone just pretends it doesn't exist-but before I actually read the fic I just wanted to say that kama (usually preceded by the honorific 'o') is also Japanese slang for "fag" or "queen," and that made me LOL a little bit.
