1. one night, yoochun tells jaejoong he wants to get another tattoo. he's reluctant to say where. and when he finally does, jaejoong vows they will never speak of it again.
2. changmin's always been the best of the five of them at hiding things. but when jaejoong catches him unaware one day, shuffling around in one of his dresser drawers, jaejoong's not sure he's ever seen changmin jump like that before. "yah, hyung!" changmin says, clearly annoyed. "what are you doing here, i thought you guys were going out?"
jaejoong raises a brow at how changmin's leaning against the open drawer, hiding it from view. "i decided to stay home with you. what's in the drawer, changmin?"
changmin glowers. "none of your business. i'll be out in a minute," he says, and his right eye twitches a little.
jaejoong clicks his tongue and moves closer. "changmin, your secret is safe with me, now lemme see," he coaxes, tilting to the side to try and get a glimpse.
changmin moves with him, shaking his head. "no. it's embarrassing, hyung." his eye twitches again, and jaejoong laughs this time, reaching out to touch it. changmin moves away instinctively and jaejoong uses the opportunity to move changmin forcibly, with much yelling and fighting. changmin's stronger than he looks, damn him, and it takes jaejoong a couple of minutes, but he finally gets a good look inside.
"oh dear," jaejoong says.
changmin scowls, arms folded across his chest. "tell anyone, and you die. heechul-hyung bought it for me."
jaejoong raises a brow, gaze still focused on the crumpled outfit. "are you gonna wear it?" he says after a pause, determinedly not wondering why heechul bought changmin this. with heechul, this tactic is best.
changmin splutters, gesturing. "it's a skirt, hyung! a SKIRT. and HEELS. and... hole-y things-"
"-fishnet stockings," jaejoong supplies, causing changmin to raise a brow this time. "hey, i have sisters," jaejoong adds, defensive. "and i'm sure your legs will look really hot in them."
the bruise he recieves is enough to keep jaejoong's mouth shut for the rest of the night - turns out, that's what heechul's note had said, as well.
3. the next day, jaejoong sees heechul at the supermarket and heechul goes into a long-winded explanation why exactly he bought changmin that outfit, despite jaejoong not having asked at all. and changmin, jaejoong decides, does not need to know.
4. "jaejoong," yunho whispers, cornering jaejoong as he comes out of the bathroom, eyes wide.
jaejoong frowns in concern. "what is it? why are we whispering?"
yunho bites at his bottom lip nervously. jaejoong raises his eyebrows and yunho sighs, glancing over his shoulder briefly. "you um. you have experience with... icky stuff, right? growing up with sisters and all?"
jaejoong feels trepidation like ice in his veins, suddenly. "um, yes," he says, hesitant.
yunho avoids jaejoong's gaze. "uh. our last outfits... you know, they were kind of tight and-" yunho doesn't finish his sentence, squirming a little. a little too obviously, that is.
"oh god, don't say it," jaejoong says as realization washes over him. "just. go to the hospital and get it taken care of and we'll just um. i'll let the others know you had errands or something, okay?"
"thanks," yunho says, coughing and ducking his head, his cheeks redder than jaejoong's ever seen them. jaejoong's pretty sure his cheeks will never be the same, either.
5. the first time they sing mirotic, yoochun laughs so hard he has to sit down, tears streaming down his face. jaejoong takes note of exactly when it happens - after junsu's ad-lib in english. he also remembers that there are certain phrases yoochun still understands, and makes a mental note to ask yoochun exactly what was so hilarious about junsu's line.
(they make a mutual agreement to spare junsu the humiliation.)
