It's either too late or too early to be up - Yunho's not sure which. It all tends to bleed together lately. But there's the faint sound of bass coming from the back of the apartment, and Yunho knows there's only one person who'd be there in the studio this time of night.
Just as Yunho thought, as he peers through the crack in the door, there's Junsu glistening with sweat and breathing rapidly, halfway through the Mirotic dance. Junsu's got it down to a t, but he's never satisfied, always pushing himself to the limit. Yunho knows the feeling well. "Hey," Yunho finally says in greeting, pushing open the door to step through. "You should be asleep."
Junsu starts only barely, a flash of something that's gone too quickly for Yunho to recognize what it may be. "Can't," Junsu says, voice tight.
Yunho frowns, tempted to pry, but Junsu never did take that well. Yunho learned that lesson the hard way, through the years. So instead, he stands side-by-side with Junsu and without speaking, they both pick up the dance.
They go through the dance four times before Junsu gives in. "Do you ever get tired, hyung? Just. Tired of everything? The lack of privacy, the constant get up and go, go, go?" Junsu sighs. "I know I wanted this and I still do but." He stops, running a hand through the longer part of his hair.
Yunho's silent, giving Junsu time to finish, and when it's clear he is, replies, softly, "yeah, I do. But you and the others, you guys make it worth it. You give me the strength I need."
Junsu looks at him for a long, long moment, then smiles. "You big sap," he says, laughing, but Yunho can see the extra shine in his eyes as he pulls Yunho into a hug. "I love you, hyung. Thanks."
Yunho pulls away, cupping Junsu's neck and patting it lightly. "Anytime, Junsu. I love you, too." He smiles, nodding at the stereo. "Turn that off and let's go get some sleep."
Junsu does, but not without a little mood-making. "Gonna need it, if you're stealing all my strength."
As they make their way down the hallway, Yunho tugs Junsu into a headlock to show Junsu just how strong he is without thievery. Junsu lets Yunho tug him into his bedroom instead of going separate ways. For the first time in a long while, Yunho sleeps a little more peacefully than usual, and he hopes the same goes for Junsu.
