Buck buck buck went the rabbit

Sporadic and chunky posts appear to be my speciality, it seems. I thought I should say stuff.

1. Went home again. I had an interview for a job at a golf club. Was told that the most I could be was a busser because I didn't have waitress experience. Wasn't much of an interview. Emailed later, didn't get the job. Wasn't expecting it and didn't really want it, anyway. One, it's too far away and am carless for most of the week. Two, it's too posh and I wouldn't fit in. Had another interview, that wasn't much of an interview, today for Subway. Again, the location is too far and I feel like I'm being downgraded back to McDonalds. Have to call with references and would rather not, but can I do that? Awkward manager.

2. Classes ended last Thursday, didn't go to any that last week. Hah. Exams start this week and am screwed. Tried studying, all boring crap, and nothing wants to stick. Frustrating.

3. Only good part of weekend was seeing Grindhouse.
It was sick OMG. So so sooooo good.

Planet Terror was the best feature of the two by far. It had the look and feel of a cheap(er) made movie and it had the violence, the gore, the (missing) sex, the cheese, the funny, Rose McGowen with a gun leg. That may sound like a stupid idea, but it was fucking awesome. I mean how cool would it be to have a gun for a leg? Seriously? Plus, Naveen Andrews has a role in it and Naveen Andrews is badass.

The fake movie previews (prevues) were hilarious.

Death Proof featured mostly Tarantino dialogue, but one specific death scene was fantastic and the ending was totally worth the endless chatter and filler. People were clapping. However, unlike PT, this didn't have the same gritty feel to it and felt more like a slick mainstreamish movie.

Despite that, very worth the money and going on my dvds-to-buy list. What I find interesting is that in NA, the movies were released together as a double bill, but they're being released separately in Europe uncut. The dvd(s) will be packaged in the same format as the European release. With that, I'm hoping that both movies will be put in one dvd and include the fake trailers.

4. Watched last episode of Lost today, but I'm not going to say much.

-WTF? is up with the monster and it's flashy lights? So the Others know of it, but are basically as clueless as the Losties are.
-Kate and Cassidy (still conning), what are the odds. Alas, Clementine is real.
-Sawyer holding Aaron has to be one of the cutest things. The only thing that confused me was Aaron's crying at Sawyer's presence. At one time, Sawyer's voice comforted him.
-Juliet knocking Kate off her feet at the beginning? Nice.
-Kate broke Jack's heart. That BITCH! Sorry, we're all 12.
-Has Juliet truly been abandoned?

Promo for next episode: Someone's going to get a hurting real bad. Plus, Sawyer and Kate HUG!!!! *flails spastically*

5. Still haven't seen PB. School messes with my tv schedule and tv watching ability. I am a monster.

6. LP is back!! About fuckin time!!!!!!

7. I swear I'll leave comments soon because I really do want to, but I need to be studying. With that, I may not be around until, at the least, Saturday because I'll be trying to cram things into my brain, rocking in a corner, going bonkers, and failing exams. The less distractions, the better, right. Just, you know, I still exist and I still care, k?

By the way, Happy Easter to you guys. I'm gorging on your creme eggs.

...I should be studying dammit.

grindhouse, job, school: is crap, holidays, fail, lost!!, linkin park
