1500hp gas turbine engine. 120mm smoothbore cannon capable of making accurate kills up to 3000 meters away. thats going to be my job to get that where it needs to go. i don't think thats a bad thing at all to get payed to do that. no m1a1 has ever been destroyed by enemy fire in all combat history including that of otehr countries employing m1a1 or its two other variants.
and i dont even have to worry about putting insurance on it.
