Writer's Block: The Final Frontier
LJ deleted my answer... so i'm kinda ticked... I'll just say, Star Trek has too many influences till today to be gone... the world needs the Prime Directive... the world needs Jean-Luc Picard... If it were a decision between either a world without Star Trek or a world without Star Wars, I'd go with a world without Star Wars... I can live without its cheesy dialogue, (mostly) bad acting, and pathetic lightsaber duel scenes that nearly always ends with someone's limb being severed off.
I shall end with this:
