Took place after Watanuki fell and Doumeki brought him to Yuuko's.
I'm dedicating my debut 104 writing to alliterationhor, who came up with the conversation parts while I extended them to a drabble.

Price
Loud, harsh panting, together with the sound of rushed footsteps ripped into the silence of the room.
He barely caught his breath as he spoke, voice unlike the steady hands that were lowering his injured friend gently onto the futon.
"I'll pay it. Whatever it is, I don't care. I'll pay it."
"Those are words that should be said with caution."
He looked up, eyes locking onto Yuuko’s, expression unreadable.
"I'll pay it."
For what felt like the longest moment in his life, no one spoke. However, just as he was about to speak again, Yuuko nodded and stepped forward.
