Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful!! I love it!

Kimi-chan ripping apart Watanuki's apartment was great--I can just see Watanuki's totally appalled look when Doumeki tells him what his double did to his apartment.

And the twist with Kimihiro not being a spirit magnet--I never even thought about it. His reaction to seeing those things was great too. I can't wait to see his reaction to Mokona!

I am SO looking forward to the next chapter now--does this mean that when Watanuki gets to 'his' apartment, that Shizuka will be there? Oh, is he going to Flip-Out!! *Giggles* It should be fun to watch. At least Shizuka has figured out that Watanuki is not Kimihiro, but he may revise his opinion once Watanuki starts talking about spirits and monsters and such--he may just think that Kimihiro has gone insane. And how will Watanuki react to finding out that he isn't neck-deep in the spiritual world and is not spirit bait.

Now I have some thoughts--just my brain's wanderings, like:
Did Watanuki and Kimihiro actually physically swap or did their personalities merely swap, leaving them in their doubles's body?

Because that would definitely make a difference in how their stay in the foreign world goes, because, even if Kimihiro isn't spirit bait in his world, that doesn't mean that spirits don't exist in his world, just that he doesn't see them. And if their bodies were switched, that means Watanuki is going to be in very big trouble very soon--no wards on his apartment.

If their bodies didn't switch, then Kimihiro is going to start having some very unpleasant surprises--although, the fact that Kimihiro hasn't seen any spirits, something he is bound to notice because he has never seen them before, seems to indicate that their bodies were switched. I mean, Kimihiro was away from Doumeki for an hour at least and it seems that he spent most of his time at 'his' apartment, with the door open, even so slightly as it was. Watanuki's apartment is probably thoroughly soaked in Watanuki's spiritual power, so even without its owner, it would still attract the spirits and I'm sure, even though Kimihiro seems just as dense at Watanuki, he would have noticed any monsters hanging around the apartment. Or Kimihiro could have been too distracted to notice too.

Also, does this story happen before or after the revelation about Himawari? Just wondering. If they did switch bodies and not just minds, it might be interesting to see if Doumeki 'sees' anything through their eye in the other world. Heavens knows Watanuki is emotional enough to transmit anything that startles him. Doumeki getting a glimpse of the other Yuuko would be hilarious!!! And that could give Doumeki the idea to go see Yuuko for help too. And having Doumeki try to explain why he can see things with his eye to Kimihiro would be great too.

But seeing Watanuki and Kimihiro dealing with their doubles's body would be interesting too. Can't decide which I want to see more--oh well, looking forward to anything that you give us.

Heh, yeah Watanuki will not be please to know all of his stuff was rummaged through by Doumeki and a stranger. Hmm, maybe we shouldn't tell him. XD

Yeah, Watanuki is going to be in for a big surprise when he reaches his/Kimi-chan and DOumeki's apartment. It definitely won't be good for his blood pressure.

Ah, I love it when people analyze the stories. :-D You're brain wanderings form very good theories! I actually pondered (yes, I actually pondered, it's more fun than thinking, but not so serious as introspecting) this scenario myself. In the end, I decided it was less complicated best to have them keep there own bodies. Though the idea had a lot of merit, I like this way better as I'll show in later chapters why. And yes, Kimihiro is a little bit dense too. But that's why I love him so much.

This story takes place after volume nine middle of ten-ish, before they find out about Himawari's erm, problem. So Watanuki has both eyes and has met Kohane-chan, though I don't know if I'll put her in here. Probably not. I think. I'm allowed to change my mind right? ^_^;;
