Lately...

Lately I've been appalled by the blatant similarities in the characters of Christians and non-Christians.

Is there nothing that sets these people apart anymore?

Has the church in America become so self-centered and emotionally driven that they don't see the people around them?  And whatever happened to my generation?   It seems that most of them would rather party their life away than lift a hand to help someone.  And what on earth happened to the generation after mine?

Shame on you to treat others in the body the way you have.  Shame on you to treat others who are not part of the body like that.

It's ridiculous.

Christians aren't like this all over the world.  In some places people actually care about each other and show others the love of their Yeshua.  In some places people can actually tell if you're a follower of the Christ, and in lots of places they'll torture you for it.

In July 2007, 42-year-old Li Mei and nine house church leaders were arrested, when they were discovered having a Sunday worship service. They were charged with singing Christian hymns to villagers, showing the JESUS film in a nursing home and praying for healing for a disabled elderly man. The nine were sentenced to re-education through labor for 12 to 18 months. Li Mei served part of her one-year sentence in a hospital with both hands chained to her bed. Repeated beatings and torture caused her to require a hysterectomy. She is currently serving the remainder of her sentence at home under house arrest. -persecution.com
