This afternoon we played at Bull Creek park. Samuel played naked in the water. Isaac scaled large boulders. Steve skipped stones and thought about rock climbing, wishing more than once that he had brought his shoes. I watched the sky.
Blue sky. Sun on my face. A pleasant 76 degrees out. Flat on my back with legs dangling over the edge of a bridge that is now no more than a pile of rocks.
A good afternoon.
I went on the excursion as a reward for accomplishing so much this morning. I landed two new clients, sent out a couple of invoices, participated in an hour long conference call for a new project, and wrote a client's email newsletter.
By afternoon I was ready for nap. So, I got in the car with Steve and the boys to run errands and play.
