Now
this is what I'm talkin' about: Ron Paul supporters swarming Republican Party county conventions, taking them over, electing full slates of Ron Paul delegates, and then re-writing the state's party rules and platform at the state conventions. In Missouri, a
flood of news reports make it look like it just might happen. If they have enough voting strength, they're amending party rules so that they don't have to vote for McCain at the national convention, essentially un-binding their vote and freeing them to vote for someone else (like Ron Paul). And, even without that much strength, they're still passing loads of Ron Paul inspired resolutions to change the party's platform. They're changing the Republican party from the inside out by knowing the rules and playing by them. This is happening all across the country.
My own county convention is just two weeks away, and Steve and I are both delegates hoping to make it to the state convention in Houston later on this summer. In our precinct convention, we passed four Ron Paul inspired resolutions. I know many other precincts also successfully passed Paulian resolutions, so the county convention ought to be interesting.
