A Morning Reverie

The light pouring in our window at 8am this morning felt unwelcome and intrusive.  Steve and I went to bed at 3am; we had stayed up late finishing up a small project for our business.

First of all, that bumper sticker is too funny. LOL
I love your little Isaac anecdotes. They remind me of James at that age & of the passages in the Gospel of John when "the one that Jesus loved" offers glimses into the intimacy shared among loved ones.
James did/does that a lot, and we can't unteach it. And once he switches over, he can't go back. For example: "choo den den" became "choo choo train" one day, and he couldn't say "choo train train" after that.

Isn't it clever? It's actually a t-shirt from Busted Tees and easy to buy if you wanted to wear it around.

Isaac seems to transition out of his toddler phrases slowly. There's an intermediate time between when he says things improperly and when he says them correctly in which he says both equally as often. But, yes, once it's gone, it's gone.
