the day of her death
last night
1:13 a.m.
finished working on my science project.
shut down everything.
....
i went to go lay down with z but it was almost obvious he didnt want to sleep with me
he left me my own blankets on my side.
his hands were cold and tucked stiffly into his pockets.
i tried to, but after i felt the emptyness.. i turned over and cried to the edge of the bed.
after a pair of tears rolled from my eyes on to the bed sheets. i fell asleep:
I had a violent dream.
it started with a giant wreck.
i was watchin thorugh zeus' eyes
as he watched this urban mayhem.
there was a small orange pinto driving slowly with me in the passenger.
clack..clunk...suddenly it starts to roll; empty on gasoline.
then at top speeds, about a block away from the car i am in,
a bus and a rig have an emmence collision.
the care that i sit in, is stuck in the middle of the street.

As a result the bus repelled from the freighter; sending it into a
reversed frenzy.
the bus came screaming closer.
its laquered paint, becoming a red blur....
it made a quick turn and slammed into the wall.
I continued to watch this through zeus's eyes...
i saw as the freight container dislodged from the truck,
It began tearing through the asphalt as it neared me in the car.
As if commanded by a unseen force, the steel cage careened into the car slamming me into the wall.
the scene faded to black. and then there was a voice over. some kind of cheezy joke maybe?
"The Day of Sophia's Death"
from there it opened into a very drug laden scene
the lights are red and orange and blue.
We're all upstairs in the rehearsal room;
i walk in from behind Luis' drumset..(maybe by osmosis?)
Zeus is sitting to the right, with a black bandana on his head,
and he's passing around a bong. THere's music blaring...
and theires papers, cans, bottles, maybe even needles laying every where--
suddenly his mother shows up. I run to the light switch. stoping music sound and all...
she walks in and turns on the lights, z hides his shame and SHE's OUT oF COnTROL!
She looks like a caracature of herself, with her eyes like fireengine sirens, big brown aqua-net hair and a skin tight outfit;
The music now blaring again, she sits down and wants to party.
I saw her take a huge hit, cortesy of my loves lighter, and she continued to laugh hysterically.
After that it really becomes a blur.
my body was pobobly shaking through this whole
sort of falling through spiral tunnel,
eyes fluttering violently under their appropriate lids
I did catch a glimpse of a chorus line of dancing elephants in neon pink & green dresses doing high kicks.
THen i remember a door being pushed open.
and i was outside again..
i saw zeus watching the car accident...
then instantly i was my self in the car....
i look and see the freighter and the bus collide
everyone was dead and I panicked to get out of the car but it was locked.
I looked at the wall.. that i was soon to crash into and look back...
a sigh of releif as the buss crashes into the wall...
then the frieght cart starts tearing scars into the streets right for me.....
i sweat, my tears, i can't get out.
then by some inseen force. i and the car were moved out of the way...
and i stood watching as the steel cage hit and made an explosion when it hit the building.

i woke up.
shook zeus, and i grabbed his arm
"HOld Me. IM having nightmares alone out here...."
and he did.
