When he pulled away, she was expecting the same stuff that had been repeated all day; I'm sorry, it was a curse, I didn't mean to, are you alright. Something along those lines.

So, needless to say, when she was hugged, she was taken a bit aback. And then she heard what he said, and was pretty much stunned. " . . . What?!"
