『RARE Prequel.』

This doujinshi is a prequel to the very dark & twisted drama ByaRen series.

The story is split into several different scenes and timelines.

It begins with Rukia's rescue and Byakuya getting injured by Gin.

Young!Renji meets for the first time the Kuchiki heir.

Renji is working now under Byakuya, as 6th division vice-captain.
He doesn't seem very pleased to work under the Kuchiki head, and is constantly trying not to be inferior to his captain, who keeps mocking and provoking him.

Renji awakens at 4th division after his fight with Byakuya (Sereitei-arc).
Remembering what happended, he holds his captain's blood-stained scarf.
