Calico beans followed by strawberries and ice cream. Cats' pen 3/4 lined with brick so stupid dogs can't help with digging escape tunnel. M & D's remodel after week 2: Fireplace gone, interior torn out including all floor and 3/4 of ceiling, new walls studded. Plumber starts monday. Followed by electrician, trestles for new vaulted ceiling, windows, then new security system and then sheetrock. Still waiting to see when surgeon will repair torn minescus on Mom's knee.
