Yeah so I got a ball from Mike Timlin on Monday night. Mike Timlin happens to be on my list of favorites, and happens to be one of the only three guys in all of baseball whose autograph I don't have and really want (the others are Wakefield and Derek Lowe.
When Derek was still in Boston I made a sign that said "Derek Lowe will you please sign my ball". He never saw it.
I held it up and Jonathan Papelbon saw it first and he said "I'm not Timlin" and I said "Yeah, I know who you are!!" and then my mom stupidly told him I already had his autograph, WHICH I DON'T!!! GRRR...
The boys were doing warmup sprints (the boys being the bullpen boys), and Timlin saw the sign but had to keep sprinting.
We were really close to them which was cool, and I enjoyed watching them sprint and talk and Mikey was making some kind of bet with Tavarez for $1000 (Tavarez has to get a hit to the opposite field in Interleague play and Timlin will pay).
Oh and kinda random, but Keith Foulke has the body of a hockey player. hehe.
