London

This pic is with Sir Colin Davis and a couple of the other wind players shortly before our rehearsal the the hall named below. We played Berlioz's L'Enfance du Christ. It was a brilliant concert with good reviews (I'm trying to track some of them down) and I had as good a time in an orchestra as I could ever remember.

This is the view out of the Tate Modern Art Museum. I hope I get another opportunity to go back and work in London because there are just so many more things I want to see and do. Working and networking with other friendly, good musicians has been a joy as well.

On a sad note; I did something I promised I would never, ever do: I joined facebook. On my last evening in London, after the concert, I lost my cellphone. I needed to communicate to a few friends when and how I was coming back into Cologne, as well as to some of my friends in London so they could help me locate the bloody thing. My phone was found shortly before I left for the airport, and I was able to recover it before I left. (to my great relief)
