Thoughts on the World Cup thus far

The US getting a 1 - 1 draw against Englad is the equliviant of England beating the US in a professional Basketball game. As in, it should never happen. There are very few times when a tie can be considered and absolute and total victory, this is one of those times. Slovenia's victory over Algeria puts a big crimp in our bracket. Now the US will have to win at least one of the next two games, possibly both, to advance.

Also Ghana's victory over Serbia was nothing short of brilliant. And I'm pleased to see The Netherlands drop a duce on hated Denmark.
