Things that have disappointed me recently:
1. The fact that the Surreal Life 6 is over and we didn't get to see any shirtless scenes of Steve Harwell from Smash Mouth.
2. The new Red Hot Chili Peppers album.....There's something missing with this album. It just doesn't grab me like their previous 2 albums have.
3. Terry not winning Survivor and Aras winning. I always root for the underdog and even though Terry dominated the challenges, he was the last surviving member of his alliance. Aras seemed very hypocritcal and out of the final 4, he was by far the last one I wanted to see win.
Things that have excited me recently:
1. I'm only losing 1 TV series next season (Alias, which is going out on it's own terms, and it is time to go). The most important news is that VERONICA MARS IS RENEWED. Now, I can stop checking all the message boards and websites every hour! Shoot, even What About Brian got renewed. It seems like there's a bunch of new series coming on that look very intriguing.
2. Big Brother All Stars and Rock Star: Supernova....'Nuff said.
3. Ashley Parker Angel's album. There's some great songs on there...It shouldn't surprise anyone that I love it.
4. I have tickets for Madonna, Kelly Clarkson, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. This Saturday, I hope to get tickets for Counting Crows/Goo Goo Dolls. The Counting Crows are the only one of my favorite artists that I have never seen live. That's about to change!
5. 2 vacations with Charles coming up. In July, we're going to Virginia to spend time with Keith and see the Kelly Clarkson concert. In September, we will spend a week in Oregon with my favorite gay couple (wink wink) Rob and Ben!
6. Did I mention VERONICA MARS got renewed? It's worth repeating. Hearst College here we come!!!
