The End of an Era!
So, this is it. I found out yesterday that Media Play is shutting its doors for good and I will be out of a job. Luckly, I got my promotion about 3 ago. Not really sure what the plans are going to be now. As of today we are a liquidation store and will be for probably the next 3 or 4 weeks. I believe the shock is starting to kick in about now, as I am starting to wonder about how I am going to make it by and what I am going to do once the doors are closed for good. I went out and got drunk last night to try and forget about everything and it worked. I am very pissed off at the company for the way that they handeled things. It sucks that this had to happen this close to Christmas and I feel bad for a lot of the people that I work with as I know that this is going to be very hard for them. At least I know that I have a lot of people that I know will help me out along the way if need be. This is something that I have been waiting for for a long time, it just feels really weird once it actually happens.
