Well, here in the great state of Washington, the Supreme Court is about to hear arguments regarding the definition of a fence. That's right. A fence.

The burglary statute here addresses 'entering or remaining unlawfully' in a series of areas/properties, one of which is a "fenced area"...now everyone understands what a fenced area is, but apparently nobody understands what a fence is.... I cry a little bit on the inside. I cry a bit more because my final memo for this quarter is to draft the supreme courts opinion.... kill me.

So, question. Right now I am banking on the idea that my first exams cannot actually be as bad in reality as I have made them in my mind....please tell me I am not totally deluding myself.

your finals will not be as bad as you think they will, and remember to get a B you only have to do only 85% as well as the best person in the class.
