Today is March 17th, 2008.
To the majority of the world, this is St. Patrick's Day.
And while that is a laudable holiday (being Irish, I'm rather found of it), it pales in comparison to what the day is to me.
Today is my anniversary.
As of today, I have been married to the lovely and talented
ajatagge for two years. Two years may not seem like much, objectively, but subjectively it's been quite the ride. We've worked on integrating our family, changed jobs, worked multiple jobs simultaneous, had a child, moved out of our house and into my parents and are moving into our own apartment again. We've fought, we've laughed, we've loved, we've cried. But in the end, when push came to shove, we've always been there for each other.
I love my wife very much. Even when we're ready to kill each other, the love is still there. And I hope that our experiences will help hone and temper that love, making that much stronger, that much more meaningful.
Happy anniversary, Aja.
I love you.
