Giants Game!
I went to the Yomiuri Giants game last night in the Tokyo Dome. I gotta say Japanese baseball is WAAAAAAAAAAY more exciting than American baseball. I never was really into baseball, still am not. But last night, it was so much fun! The envitronment was just amazing. Cheers for all the players and everyone standing and just everything! It was really cool. Spent way too much money but it was totally worth it! What was awesome was that they had cute girls in neon outfits running up and down the aisles with keg backpacks serving various types of beer! So cute and tempting, but 800 yen for a beer was a tad too much. Overall, Giants won 8-1.
Funny note: One of the Japanese kids in my dorm came to my room last night at 1 am. He woke me up, and I was like "eh...?" and looked over. I thought it was Kevin, my Chinese friend from Alberta, because he was wearing a shirt that looked like Kevin's AND my eyes were still blurry and groggy cuz I fell asleep with my contacts in. So I was like "Hey man. I fell asleep, sorry. I don't know if we can watch Firefly right now..." but of course it was all in incomprehendible English. And then my vision cleared up and I was like "Wait, you aren't Kevin. Oh Shit you were talking Japanese to me!" Hah, it was pretty funny.
I think I'm going to sell my DS and buy a DS Lite... because they are just so cool. Yes, I am a consumer whore.
Tomorrow I am going to Odaiba and maybe some other places. Should be fun, never went there before. Sunday I think there is a Chanbara tournament at Tokyo University and I'm not sure if I'm going to go. I may. But that night I am going to probably going to go watch the Japan World Cup game in Shinjuku with Saki, Megumi and Jesus. I hope cuz that would be really fun! Will post more later!
