[Action: Morning, all around Mayfield]
[Today starts off normal for our plucky protagonist. Waking up, getting dressed, eat breakfast - today's menu is a mushroom omelet, which for some reason looks purple. But, out of love for his mother (Minako), Minato decides to take a few bites (and secretly dispose the rest). A little strange, but so far relatively normal (for Mayfield).
On the surface, Minato looks to be normal. His spaced-out expression is nothing new for his friends and associates. But it's obvious from his behavior that he's not in his right mind. Whether it be him entering the wrong street (the normal way to the monorail), hitching a ride in a stranger's car (getting on the monorail for school), entering the park (this is school, right?), entering the lake (he's always been curious about the swim team, why not take a quick dive), or following random butterflies (were they always this blue?).]
